I had to write on the play I was a part of last month, since it was a different experience than usual.
"Triangle: Scenes from a Prosecution"By Jesse Waldinger Directed by Lauren Winnenberg.
Always after I rap up a play, I sit down to write about it and reflect.
It takes time to process the process you had passed.
The play is A dramatization of the criminal trial of the owners of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory following the conflagration that took 146 lives in New York City in 1911. Based on trial transcripts. The play was set at a court in which the audience represented the jury.
My role was Rose Schneiderman,
A woman who fought for human rights after the fire at 1911.
Acting a role of a real person is different, since you feel more obligated. I also felt a mission when sending Rose’s lines on stage, because when the play premiered the war in Israel began, and it felt hard for me to be far away from my family who lives there, and the only thing I could do is sent my fighting message through my lines on stage.
Stage heals and helps in hard times. That was very important experience indeed.

לוקח זמן לעכל את התהליך שעברתי בה, והפעם זה אכן היה אחר. המחזה הזה מתאר את המשפט שנערך בניו יורק ב1911לאחר השריפה הגדולה במפעל הטרינגל לבגדים, בו 146 נשים נשרפו למוות. המחזה מתרחש בבית משפט כאשר הקהל מגלם את המושבעים. אני גילמתי את דמותה של רוז שניידרמן, לוחמת צדק שפעלה להשגת זכויות עובדים לאחר השריפה, והעובדה שגילמתי דמות אמיתית נתנה לתפקיד משמעות נוספת. ולא רק זה, בנוסף לכך, בבכורת ההצגה פרצה בדיוק מלחמה בישראל, בעודי על הבמה, ותחושה קשה של ריחוק ממשפחתי שגרה שם העיבה עלי, לכן נשאתי את מילות הטקסט כמחאה פרטית משלי על הבמה. הבמה מרפאת. הבמה עוזרת, ולכן ההצגה הזו היוותה חוויה שונה לגמרי בעבורי. חוויה חזקה.
