Going back to Rehearsals ...
What a great feeling it is...
This excitement after a year of nothing is something else...
A year with quiet,
With no sign of when will plays be back ,
Or even if they will be back at all.
I always believed in theater,
And I knew people won’t give up on it,
But there were moments this year that I had no hope.
Suddenly an audition, and then the cast meeting, and then rehearsals on the open stage gave me hope again.
Working, acting, breathing again,
Brings energy and action to life,
ones who were missing .
Soon the audience will arrive,
They’ve missed theater too,
Not only us actors,
So to make other people happy ,
and then get applauds from them,
will be a great feeling. I’m excited.
We were waiting to be back,
they were waiting for us to be back.
Never stop believing in the power stage.
Stage heals .
Being on stage brings a smile in my face.

איזו הרגשה,
התרגשות אוחזת בי אחרי שנה קשה.
שנה של שקט. של דממה.
בלי עתיד באופק או סימן לעבודה.
עם חשש שמא לא ישובו להיות עוד הצגות,
למרות שבליבי ידעתי שזה לא יכול להיות.
תמיד האמנתי בתאטרון ובכוח הבמה,
אבל היו לי רגעים השנה שחשתי שתקוותי אבדה.
פתאום זה קרה. אודישן. ואז חזרה.
מפגש עם הקאסט, ועולים לבמה.
חזרות על במה פתוחה. בחוץ.
מילאו אותי מחדש בתקווה.
לעבוד, לשחק, לנשום מחדש.
והקהל שיגיע וישמח ומחיאות הכפיים,
משמח אותי כפליים.
אני נרגשת.
השחקנים חיכו לחזור וגם הקהל חיכה.
אסור לאבד את האמונה בבמה,
כי הבמה מרפאה.
הבמה מעלה לי חיוך על השפה.
