I Miss New York.
Even though I’m here,
I know it may sound strange and not so clear.
I miss the buildings.
I Miss the noise.
I miss the hassle and bustle and busy roads.
I Miss the Subway.
I Miss going to auditions
I miss going to shows
I miss the queues in waiting rooms
With other actors that I don’t know.
I Miss sitting in a coffee shop.
Take Away is not good enough.
I miss going to comedy clubs,
Watch standup and laugh.
I want to be spontaneous again.
I don’t want to come out with a mask everyday.
And how can you drink coffee like that anyway.
I Miss life in New York, but don’t want to go
I miss life in New York only a few months ago.

אני מתגעגעת לניו יורק.
מתגעגעת לבניינים,
מתגעגעת לרעש ולכבישים הסואנים.
מתגעגעת לסאבווי,
לאודישנים עם תורים,
לחדרי המתנה עמוסי שחקנים מתאפרים.
מתגעגעת לשבת בבית קפה,
טייקאווי זה לא תחליף מספיק טוב,
נמאס לשמור מרחק ולעמוד על סימונים ברחוב.
אני רוצה לשוב להיות ספונטנית,
לצאת החוצה בלי מסיכה,
ואיך אפשר בכלל לשתות קפה ככה??
לא רואים פנים,
רק בדים שמכסים...
